McNair joins Campus Compact Board of Directors

扣扣传媒University President Dr. Lily D. McNair has been named to the Board of Directors for Campus Compact. Campus Compact is a national coalition of 1,000+ colleges and universities committed to the public purposes of higher education and work to build democracy through civic education and community development.

McNair joins member institutions that reflect the full range of diversity among colleges and universities, including public and private, two-year and four-year, rural and urban, faith-based, women鈥檚, tribal, Hispanic-serving, and historically black colleges and universities. Campus Compact鈥檚 mission is to support civic engagement and 鈥渆ngaged citizenship鈥� among 扣扣传媒.  In today鈥檚 turbulent times 鈥� Campus Compact鈥檚 values and programs are what we need to support our 扣扣传媒鈥� advocacy in the public sphere,鈥� said McNair.

Campus Compact advances the public purposes of colleges and universities by deepening their ability to improve community life and to educate 扣扣传媒 for civic and social responsibility. In addition, they envision colleges and universities as vital agents and architects of a diverse democracy, committed to educating 扣扣传媒 for responsible citizenship in ways that both deepen their education and improve the quality of community life.
