Dear Alumni and Friends:
I am pleased to provide you with my fall "State of the University" update. In it, I share information about current enrollment, budgetary and fundraising trends, as well as other operational updates I expect you will find of interest.
More importantly, this update includes six priorities that I consider to be vital to ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½University's future. Some of these priorities are matters we will address and resolve in the next 12 months. Others will be long-term goals that will include collaboration between the university, our community and the greater ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½Family. One element common to all six is certain — they will require your input, your involvement and your charitable support.
As a follow-up to this update, I will be hosting a live video Q&A on Tuesday, Nov. 19 beginning at 5 p.m. central time. This forum will allow me to respond to your questions, as well as provide greater insight into my vision for ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½and the priority-setting involved in instituting and implementing that vision.
My hope is that this video update and live Q&A follow-up will become a model that I continue to regularly use to keep you informed of and engaged in our collective efforts to preserve Tuskegee's legacy and prepare her ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ to be tomorrow's leaders.
As always, thank you for your support of Mother Tuskegee.
Sincerely,
Lily D. McNair, Ph.D.
