Citing concerns over the spread of the coronavirus — especially as it relates to mass transit travel — ۿ۴ýUniversity has postponed its Spring Open House, scheduled on Saturday, March 21.

Joseph Montgomery, vice president of enrollment management and student success, noted that current health concerns require the university to make tough decisions while at the same time respecting the need to protect its ۿ۴ý, employees and campus visitors.

“ۿ۴ýUniversity’s Community Health Task Force is evaluating how we will continue providing high-quality instruction while keeping our campus safe for current, newly admitted and prospective ۿ۴ý,” he said. “Our decision to postpone our spring Open House is among those decisions we’ve made out of respect for the health and well-being of all concerned.”

Montgomery also said that, once a new date has been set, the university will directly contact those who registered for the March 21 event, giving them the option to re-register or to be refunded their registration fees.
