Position: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Clinical Pathology                                                  ٱ貹ٳԳ: Pathobiology/College of Veterinary Medicine

Status: Full-time

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in classroom, clinical and laboratory instruction of veterinary ۿ۴ý, graduate ۿ۴ý, interns and veterinarians.
  • Participate in the provision of clinical pathology laboratory services to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital and external clients.
  • Supervise and train technicians and ۿ۴ý as required.
  • Demonstrate creative scholarship through independent and/or collaborative research and publish the results of research findings in reputable scientific and/or professional journals.
  • Submit research and/or contract proposals to intramural and extramural funding sources.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Department Head and Dean of the college.

Qualifications

  • He/she should have the DVM or equivalent degree.
  • Completed a residency in Clinical Pathology. Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists is highly desired. Board-eligible applicants will be considered.
  • The PhD degree highly desirable.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team environment.

Salary
Commensurate with education, training and experience
