Cornell Students Visit the Department of Graduate Public Health at 扣扣传媒University

During a recent visit to 扣扣传媒University, a 聽group of talented 扣扣传媒 from Cornell University visited the 扣扣传媒University College of Veterinary Medicine鈥檚 (TUCVM) Department of Graduate Public Health (DGPH) to learn more about the 聽Master of Public Health (MPH) program.聽 The Students were under the supervision of Dr. Iman Hassani, Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at 扣扣传媒University.

During their visit, Dr. Ehsan Abdalla, Associate Professor of Public Health and Director of Analytics at TUCVM鈥檚 DGPH, and Mrs. Samina Akhter, Assistant Director of Analytics & Career Placement Certified Career Service Provider also at TUCVM鈥檚 DGPH, spoke with the 扣扣传媒 about the department, past and current research, and the MPH program. Specifically, Dr. Abdalla shared her extensive public health community outreach efforts and ongoing research projects, highlighting the impactful work within the local and global communities. Mrs. Akhter also discussed her MPH research work based on environmental pollution and breast cancer in the Blackbelt Counties in Alabama.

鈥淭his visit gave the 扣扣传媒 valuable insights into the intersection of public health research and community engagement, fostering a collaborative exchange of ideas and experiences between the two institutions," said Dr. Hassani.

In addition to hearing from the DGPH鈥檚 faculty and staff during their visit, the group of talented and inquisitive 扣扣传媒 from Cornell University also got an opportunity to meet with TUCVM MPH 扣扣传媒 and Dr. Torhonda Lee, Head of the DGPH at TUCVM. These interactions provided a platform for exchanging ideas, allowing Cornell 扣扣传媒 to learn from their peers and gain insights into the department鈥檚 initiatives and leadership.
