as 2021 Iverson Bell Award Recipient

Congratulations to our dean, Dr. Ruby L. Perry. If you did not get the opportunity to see the video presentation that was uploaded on March 6, 2021 by the AAVMC, please view at the link:.

The video is also being posted on the college’s News/Events page at/programs-courses/colleges-schools/cvm/cvm-news2020-2021. It was truly well done by the AAVMC’s contracted crew under the direction of Creative Director Dylan Graves Comstock. Thank you to all the TUCVM participants who helped make this video a success on January 29 when the production took place here on campus. We also say a special thank you to the AAVMC, Banfield Pet Hospital, and Holaday Graves ۿ۴ý, LLC.

Again, congratulations, Dean Perry….you have made history with your many “Firsts” to include firstalumna named both interim dean/dean of a U.S. veterinary school; first African American female board-certified veterinary radiologist; and first TUCVM alumna to serve as acting TU president in 2020 during President McNair’s medical leave. As you lead our college, you will continue to make history! The TUCVM Family is proud of you and agree that you are most deserving of this Iverson Bell Award for your efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion. We acknowledge you during Women’s History Month (this month) and say thank you for all you have done and do as our dean.
