Boehringer Ingelheim Summer Scholarship Program 2018

In 2018, two first-year veterinary medical 扣扣传媒 from 扣扣传媒University College of Veterinary Medicine, was selected as participants in the Boehringer Ingelheim Summer Scholarship Program.

Summer Research Topic: 鈥淚dentification of phages binding to epithelial and to mesenchymal (EMT) phenotypic breast cancer cells鈥� (Mentor Dr. Deepa Bedi)

聽 2.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Samantha N. Special

Summer Research Topic: 鈥淚dentification of pathogenic bacteria derived from natural water sources鈥� (Mentor Dr. Abdelrahman Mohamed)

Thanks to the support from the Boehringer Ingelheim Summer Scholarship Program, both scholars participated and presented their research results at The National Veterinary Scholars Symposium at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Both Derek B. Carn and Samantha N. Special, Boehringer Ingelheim Summer Scholars, did poster presentations at the National Veterinary Scholars Symposium at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences on the Texas A&M University campus.
